IS there any new Sony ereader in the near future?

Hi guys,

Does anyone know if Sony might come up with a new ereader in the near future?

I am thinking of getting the PRS600 but they always come up with something new every year.

What's the difference between the PRS700 and PRS600?

I have the 700 but I dislike the contrast. It's hard to read even if the room is slightly on the bright side.

Sony has not announced any plans yet to release a new reader. But we all know that in order to keep up that they are always working on new technologies so you never know. As for buying a PRS-600, you should go see it in person if that's possible, while I don't think contrast is an issue with it but there is an obvious glare if not held at a right angle. I myself not bothered by it and think the red PRS-600 is great. If it was not for the PRS-900, I would have bought a PRS-600, but since I already had a PRS-505 and a Kindle 2 6 inch readers, I decided I did not need a 3rd.
