Merging ePubs question

I've got a bunch of the Star Trek Corps of Engineers ePubs that I bought, and would like to merge them if possible to save space and make them the "Omnibus" type editions.

Is there a way to do this? I tried doing an "add existing items" and looking for some sort of xhtml file, but I can't find one when unzipping the ePub. So all the images and such go away when adding each html chapter.

Any help would be great!

Thanks!
