What is the size of the iPod screen?
I don't have an iPod, but I do design ebooks. An ebook I am preparing has a couple of 600pixel * 800pixel images that work perfectly well on a Sony, Kobo, and Kindle3, but split into two images on an iPod. I'd like to try to prevent this splitting if I can.

The older iPod Touch has a 480x320 pixel screen. The latest generation iPod Touch, and the iPhone 4, have a 960x640 pixel screen (ie, double the linear resolution).

Thanks, Harry.
I guess it must be one of the older models then. The user doesn't remember reading an illustrated ebook before, and hasn't had this problem. So I don't know whether it it's me or the iPod. |
