Reflash question

Hi, I'm not a developer, but I do have emelfm2, several versions of ipdf, and FBReader installed. Do you recommend that I install the reflash tool in case my iLiad crashes, or is the reset button enough? As a non-expert, would I be able to use the reflash tool OK?

My firmware is 2.12.

Thank you.

If you have shell access and firmware 2.11 or later, you automatically have the ability to reflash via CF. I do think it's a good idea to have a CF card just in case...

reflash

Thanks. I already have a 2gb CF card installed, on which I put data, so that should be enough, shouldn't it, as long as I keep my data backed up?

The reflash image is 26MB in total, so 2GB should suffice.

You can download it from the MyIrex site if you need it...
