POY

Me thinks this is a formidable site, limited flaming, knowledgable posters, literate postings, genteel environment, kind moderators, welcoming setup. Everything I like about an exchange of opinions and knowledge.

In the spirit of keeping it this way, may I suppose some sort of yearly award for Poster Of the Year? A regular, mostly helpful, preferably humorous but always intelligent poster (hence, I'm out of the race) that emobdies the spirit of this site? Something to encourage them to keep on posting and something that contrasts to the necessary evil of having to ban those that aim to destroy the spirit of Mobileread. Perhaps you can get Amazon, or Smashword or some other corporate entity to sponsor some modest prize?

Perhaps moderators could debate this internally, and since 2011 is pretty much over, it could be announced for 2012. Just an idea.
