It would be nice to break the deals up into 2 subsections, one for ebooks and the other for hardware (readers, cases, accessories, etc).

I agree, although I'd rather move all the 'free book' threads over to the Self-promotion forum, since that's what most of them are.

And keep the Kobo and FW, etc, coupons separate from all the 'free book' threads. Those are useful and tend to get lost in the flood of 'freebies'.

Since pretty much none of the authors or publishers of these books frequent these forums, I'm not sure how you conclude they are self-promotion.

The self-published freebies, though, are already banished to the self-promotion forum.

You can subscribe to the threads you want to follow, such as coupon threads, and even get emails of new messages.

No, because whenever there's a new coupon, there's a new thread.

Still would like to have a separate 'free books' sub-forum.
