Is there any feedback to say they have arrived? I know Paypal is wonderful and tells me its been sent but the cynical side of me would prefer something to say it had arrived as well rather than take Paypal's word.

No, I don't like to spam people with multiple confirmation emails. If you PM me the email address of the paypal account you used to send the donation, I'll let you know if it arrived.
