In addition, we are stepping into the new mobile device market, where we will invest cautiously and aim to become one of the leading players."

Wang's statement may offer some insight into the disagreement Lanci had with the rest of the board. Lanci has been a strong proponent of Acer delving more aggressively into the mobile market with handsets and tablets.

Wonder what this means for Acer's upcoming Android tablets.

Does anyone else see what is wrong with this statement?

No one becomes a leader by investing cautiously.
