Not a DDoS, just cats!
My humble apologies to the forum hosts. I really wasn't making a desultory attempt at a Mobileread DDoS earlier this afternoon - it was my cats.
I popped out to the library for a short while, and came back to find something mysterious in the printer queue and my computer beachballing all over the place. I checked to see what was misbehaving, and found Firefox chewing over 4 gigs of memory. Sure enough, the cats had also opened three or four hundred mobileread tabs. I don't know what they're planning next, but I'm thinking of keeping my Kobo Glo and iPad in a handle-less cabinet in the meantime. |

So it's NOT Chinese hackers attacking the USA! It's really Australian cats!

Maybe they were downloading The White Mice by Richard Harding Davis?
Edit: No, never mind, that's just a romantic fantasy... Last edited by steven522; 02-21-2013 at 09:06 AM. |

It's a bit of a head-scratcher: they were looking at this thread on how to go to a particular location within a book. https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho....php?p=1865909 |

Where should I deposit that hair ball so to maximize the discomfort of my owners when they step on it. Where should I regurgitate that food I wolfed down. |

Yeah, things like that. And world domination (by means of adorableness)
