KF8 and read-aloud

Amazon Kindle Fire format support read-aloud function, like iBooks?

And how about javascript animations?

1) Don't know, but probably.
2) Absolutely not. No Javascript. Period.

Thanks for the answer

I believe the KF8 can handle audio files. But not synchronize audio with text, as in iBooks. This was a feature introduced by Apple.

Anyway, if KF8 does not support javascript, how can I create a play button to start an audio file?

Amazon Publishing Guidelines. Embedded audio starts in section 6.3 (but the gist of it is standard HTML5 <audio> tags).

Also realize that the audio and video only works on the iOS app, not the devices.
