First mug of tea for the day.
Trying to decide what I'll do today. Since just about everything around here needs doing right about now. |

Rocking a Little Man back to sleep. He woke up crying, a rarity these days, so the Big Man went in to try and settle him. LM wanted Mommy so here we sit rocking. No fever, no real reason that we can tell just an upset LM.

Poor little guy.
Coffee in my cup, although the weather outside is still 87F. Almost time to start up the air conditioner, if it doesn't do a cool down this evening. |

I don't like it when he wakes up crying because it means that something is bothering him. But I like the snuggle and the rocking and holding him close. It really is a magical moment. He woke up again and we brought into bed with us. He slept in between us for a few hours and I was able to move him back to his crib for the rest of the night.
I do love the snuggling and miss doing to as much as we did even 6 months ago. But I don't want to go back to that sleep pattern because I really love the time sitting or lying next to my Husband as well. Starbucks coffee in my cup. Finished my yogurt cup and working on a couple of cups of cantelope and honey dew melon. |

Finishing up my morning Major Dickason's, and moving to a Lion Mountain Keemun. While I read through yet another pass of PDFs of a book I thought I was done with.

Unfortunately too true! My evening libations are increasingly either Campari & soda, and of course, the (in)famous Ardbeg slushie -- both quite light & refreshing on sultry evenings. And I can pass them off as either pink lemonade or regular lemonade ...

Kicking back after a lunch out on the deck (home made bratwurst, grilled on the barbie), waiting for another chapter to proofread. And drinking diet coke cause it's actually quite warm today. (22C)
