14th.

OTOH, I have rebuilt half-of-packages yesterday and today, it might take couple of days to fix everything and make it work. Even dailies may be missing due to unmet dependencies in package repository.

I think I'll wait a few days then... maybe Saturday?

Yep, until Saturday storm should end, unless some really nasty bug creeps in.

I checked the OI ticket list and didn't see anything that looked like it.
(love it that OI process is so open, tickets and IRC all visible)

is it time to try a new daily or should I wait a while longer?

larger rootfs does the trick, I can now start madshelf and at last my OI behaves like the wiki User Guide examples! hooray for dottedmag.

I am still doing experiments with fonts and have found that indeed, OI's reader (FBreader?) for epubs is far cooler than Jinke's or Tirwal's version. it does let me change fonts, and its zoom factors are actually rational, expressed in point sizes.

getting tempted to quit using "live" version and just burn default-boot OI onto the device -- but want to do a bit more testing first before making that commitment. anyway hats off, kudos to the OI developer team -- excellent feature set, decent looknfeel (I've seen a couple of weird things with menu placement but they go away if you back out and start over).

I like the status bar :-)
