I don't really have a preference, each reader has a different purpose. I do use my PW2 the most as it's as a 3G so I use it for holidays etc. the kobo is more a back up device, plus it has Pocket on it, and the PW1 has specific collections on it. I use the Nook a lot at home as it has certain authors on it that I read a lot.

I couldn't have just one, but if I could only two it would be the Nook and the PW2.

The Nook lighting didn't appear it's best in those pictures. It's the one device where I only use the lighting as it gets darker as it looks better as without outside light affecting it. The others use the light to whiten the screen in lighted conditions, the nook doesn't really do that.

I'm glad you had the Carbon for £5 only. At this price, it's a steal. I would have bought a couple more to stock up. I bought mine around $20.
I don't have it yet, I'll post back when I do. The carbon is nice but I'm not sure I like the way the nook drops down on the left when using the stand. I keep wanting to peg it up.

All nook covers are £5 on NookUK, everything is reduced. Nook is pretty much a garage sale over here. They haven't even released the new one here, not that I'd buy it, I wanted the buttons and SD Card slot.

I love the stripped cover, the weight is 140g vs the Nook case which is 151g. Its a very sturdy and secure case, and the Nook fits inside it perfectly, with all the cuts out in the right place. The front doesn't feel lose like the Nook case does as it has magnets to keep the front closed. It also lies completely flat much more easily than the Nook case. This will be my main case with the Nook case my back up, and for the price is a steal.

Hi Josieb1,

Thanks for the feedback on everything. You're right, at the price you got the covers, it's definitely a steal. Personally, I prefer for a cover a minimalist approach because I find the wrap contour distracting. I don't need the cover to close with magnets or strap. Actually, I even cut out the grey strap of the Industriell easel that snaps to the magnet to have a totally streamlined cover.

My bad about reading the order of the pictures. You're right, the KP's lighting looks really swell.

I would think so. I have not seen it go on sale on any other day besides Father's Day and Mother's Day.
