indesign to epub problem
I am having an indesign to epub problem that I hope someone can help me with.
I generated a pdf file of a book document for proofreading purposes. I made and saved all text corrections and then tried exporting the book document to epub. However, when I get to the "save as" name, (prior to the conversion), the name that appears is not the name of the document file I am trying to get to epub, but rather the name of the pdf document I had previously generated. I deleted the pdf file from my hard drive, but that doesn't seem to matter. The document name for the pdf keeps appearing and the conversion to epub is always the pdf document. Anyone have a solutions? |

I'm unsure how you could be getting a PDF when you export an ePub since they're under different commands, at least in the version I'm using. PDF is under the regular export command while ePub is under Export For Digital Editions. You don't say what version of InDesign you're using though.

Hi
I'm new to this forum so I was looking at this intruduction forum and ran into your question. My experience is that when I create an epub with InDesign (5.5) I always get the name I used for an epub that I made before the new one. May be it's the same when you created a pdf before. |
