CF Card not recognized

Hallo,

i bought a 32 GB Transcend CompactFlash 133X Speed and tried to use it with my 1. Generation Iliad (bought at ebay) after upgrading to 2.12, but i didnt managed it to be recognized. I also reformated it with FAT32 with my WinXP many times with no success.
Is there another way to get the card recognized, like another method of formating or initializing or something else. I also tried a 256 MB card with no problems.

Please give me a helpful advice.

I have introduced a software in this forum. please search for "USB recognized" you will find the topic. use that program and let me know the result. Also there are some posts regarding CF and USB storages more than 4Gb, the can be usefull too.

Happy to see you've solved the problem. Honestly I had the same problem as you but with my USB sticks, so did a search and found that valuable tiny!! exe file.
