"Exception" during validation!
Today for the first time, I am getting a message as follows, preceded by a large red 'stop' sign reading "An exception occurred during validation:std::exception."
What am I getting here?

How soon after starting the Validate did it trow the error?
What type of book were you validating?

On what OS and Version?
And just for grins: what version of Sigil?

It occurred immediately after clicking on Validate. I'm validating an epub file generated by calibre 8.3, from an html file generated from MS Word 2011 (Mac) OS 10.6, Sigil 3.4, This happened after upgrading calibre to 8.3. All previous calibre files proceed to validation and show errors fine'

I don't think Calibre 8.3 MAC had any changes to the convert engine.
I've only converted 1 file (PDF) since 8.3 and Sigil 3.4 XP validate loved it

Create a new issue on the tracker and attach the problematic epub file.
