How do I delete empty collections?

I haven't had a Kobo for a few years, and I just got the Forma today.

I've configured the kobotouchextended plugin and set up a custom column for collections. I've also selected 'delete empty bookshelves' in the plugin config

Everything is working fine, except I have about 50 empty collections on the device. Is there some way to get the plugin to automatically delete them? Or even a way to manually delete them (other than one by one)?

Thanks.

The collection management should be done each time you connect the device. And if you have the option selected, then it should delete empty collections. The most common reason for this not to happen is that on the "Sending books to devices" page of the calibre preference, you have the "Metadata management" option set to something other than automatic.
