Welcome DMcCunney to the team!

Ladies and gentlemen from far and near,

It is my great pleasure to formally announce that Dennis McCunney has joined the Mobileread team. Dennis has been a member since 2007, and it's not an exaggeration to describe him as a most helpful and enthusiastic e-book follower.

Most of you may have seen Dennis' remarkable coverage of the recent Sony event in New York City. So what'd be more appropriate than naming him Mobileread's official "New York Editor"?

Welcome aboard, Dennis! Very glad to have you with us.

This is excellent news!

The MobileRead moderators do an excellent job on our behalf - and DMcCunney will be a worthy addition.

Totally

Well, sadly the world was left with all the zodiac units produced up to that time. And since they are robust and well designed many of the units are still in use out there to this day. A bunch of old followers of the machine are still holding out over at www.tapland.com and www.zodiacfrance.com and elsewhere.

And some names (like the one celebrated here ) known from the zodiac-related forums have come up here too, of course, since the zodiac is not too bad a reading device itself (if one isn't all for eInk etc.).

All the best

Dennis? On the Mobileread team? Are you mad?! The man's a megalomaniac! Don't you remember all those times he tried to kill me, and that time he got elected as mayor through the votes of dead people and pets, and when his brother was going to blow up the dam above town, and his shockingly abhorrent perfect recollection of Gilbert and Sullivan tunes, and...

....no, wait, that was Sideshow Bob.

Dennis? Dennis?

...

Oh, right, that bloke on Mobileread...yeah, he's pretty good. He maybe needs to be a bit more evil every now and then, but, otherwise, he has my vote (I always vote after the election, that way I always pick a winner).

Congratulations, Dennis. Use the staff discount wisely, and treat your groupies fairly.

Cheers,
Marc
