Thumbnail Dimensions?
I'm quite sure this has already been answered somewhere... but a few searches didn't turn it out.
What dimensions does the gen3 use for thumbnails in library mode? I realise that there will be 3 sizes (5,10,20 books per page). What I'm really after is the aspect ratio so that I can put a cover for a book that doesn't end up to fat or thin. |

The thumbnails are always 96x144 pixels (2:3 ratio). The library mode only affects the amount of text that goes with each book, but the thumbnails are always the same.
Note that the screen is 600x800 pixels (3:4 ratio). So you cannot have a perfect fit for both the thumbnail and full-screen cover. Usually, the Cybook will auto-generate the thumbnails by cutting the cover image if needed, rather than adding whitespace. |
