How do you add Android apps to rooted reader via USB?

New rooted T1 user......

I just sold my wonderful PRS-950 and got a T1 to enter the new world of Android apps on a rooted device (boroda min root package). In going through various threads, I noticed that apps can be added in several ways -- through Google mail, drop box, and by USB connection from a PC to the T1.

Question??? For the USB method, what folder are the APK files transferred to so that the T1 can see and install them? thanks.

I'd just copy it to a folder somewhere you know to find....
=> then using the Root Explorer, go to that place, and click on the .apk file; it will ask for installation (follow the steps from there please)...

But first assure yourself that you've activated the needed setting in Android Settings >> Applications >> Unknown sources (or whatever it is in English)...

If you connect the reader to your computer you will get two folders, Reader and Settings. You can put APK's in the Reader folder, and you'll find them on your reader under /sdcard.

The easiest way without root explorer is via Dropbox. Simply download the apk with www browser from you dropbox account and click on notification bar to open the downloaded file -> will install.
