Text formatting
Just bought a Jetbook standard.....$129.95. Anyhow downloaded some txt files from Gutenberg. All of them do not display properly on the Jetbook. There are no paragraphs...all the text is displayed as single lines with every other line having only one word! Anyway I can fix or reformat the text? tia

You might try the FB2 format instead of txt.

If it was me I'd try loading it into word or other word type document. Then try saving it as .rtf, see if that doesn't work better for you.

You can download the same books from Gutenberg in ePub format. jetBook has support for ePub format.

I love the html format from Gutenberg best. I download the zipped file, unzip them and transfer to my mem card.
