Nook App still available via sideloading?

Hi, I apologize if this has been answered already somewhere else, but I am looking for the latest information about the Nook App.

I am considering the Kindle Fire HD, but I have a ton of Nook books. Is it still possible and practical to sideload this app for the KFHD.

Thanks,
LaWanna

I had the most current version of the Nook app running on My Fire HD for a while when I first got it (end of December). I didn't give all the functions a workout to see if there might be any kinks, but I was definitely able to register the app and open DRMed B&N content with no issues.

Getting your hands on the app in order to sideload it should be the only hurdle you face to getting it working. And seeing as how it's easily downloaded from 1mobile, that shouldn't be much of a hurdle at all.

You can get the Nook app at 1Mobile

I don't care for the new Nook app. I like last year's version better before they tried to make it looks too much like the Kindle app which I don't care for either.
