Sony PRS-505-Text fades in direct sun

Would appreciate your assistance or comments.
Has anyone experienced the problem of text fading or becoming very patchy when using the e-reader in direct sun.
When on the beach I have to make certain the e-reader is in the shade when in use. If the reader is used in direct sun, within a couple of minutes the text starts to fade and becomes very difficult to read.

This is a known issue with a small percentage of E-Ink screens. Please do a search here and on Google to learn more.

Your missing a "No problem with Sun light" option in your poll.
