I want to get back to the orginal firmware too. I installed 1.04a which worked. Then I tried to install 1.05a which didn't work. I had to reinstall 1.04a but it's been acting flakey ever since. The clock is in 24 hr format no matter what the setting is. I would like to start over, but I don't want the 505 firmware that the hack 300 installs as a reverse.

Anyone know how to get the orginal firmware back?

Regarding restoring the original firmware, check this out. It describes the procedure for PRS 505, but for 300 it's very similiar.

Note, however, that these are dumps from PRS 300 bought in Germany. (it supports 4 languages English, German, French, Dutch)

There are many posts of people that have used the Russified version that like it (myself included), but would like to have a copy of the original firmware, Just In Case.
