I was sniffing around in http://ut.lcars47.com/ (again) checking out the latest status of the project.
Many cool things in there. A native LCARS 47 is something I one day dream of... https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...37#post2148037 I did do some source code begging (and would even promise to work on close-sourced code, something I normally would never do, but you can trust the federation ) Your work is genius and much appreciated. Hero EDIT: Just because I can... LCARS47 Via Wine on Linux Pictured Quote:

Come on. Get immersed in Ancient translations, you will
soon be drenched to the bone¹ If geekmaster is reading this he will surely adopt this font to trim withespace in his (otherwise perfectly readable) dither code. But why cheat with the dotsies. Find rather the real one here: SG fonts ¹Has anyone noticed that bob is a mirror image of pop? |

Ancient
Hmmm, the Ancients... They don't have much vocabulary... Nobody has developed their grammar... The pronunciation is simple latin... Too shallow for a guide, though I could add Amacuse /Am-a-cu-se/ to my favorite translated word... Other nadsat seems hopeless.
In the mean time, just my shameless imitation of Post #54: Spoiler:

: ) HAH CLASS!!
Yeah. just not enough words out there for the ancients. about 50 in total. sad really for something like 250 TV shows worth of dialog Also SGU and SG Atlantis both got axed WAY before any decent actual depth was developed. Sad time. Poor choice of actors. (flexes his Performing Arts qualifications lol) Hey ho. Last edited by twobob; 03-23-2013 at 05:31 PM. |
