no 'real' connection between prs505 and calibre running on win pc

calibre doesnt recognize my prs505.

(but i can copy files using calibe to my prs505) but not the funktion 'send to reader')

i did for analysis the following:

cmd: calibre-debug -d

and this is the result:

Oh wait. Maybe i've got you wrong in the german forum...
You can transfer files to the reader with Calibre? Does it work if you open the button menu "send to reader" and choose the first menu item?

fast response :-))

i can send books to the reader with the 'save to disk' funktion.

i'm not able to click the 'send to reader' funktion or the little arrow on this side of this funktion. that is my 'problem'. thank you for help.

Yeah, 'Scotty' helped me to teleport between the forums...

As already assumed Calibre doesn't detect your PRS-505. Hopefully Kovid can help you...

thank you for your help.

but.. save the time for more important things.

i installed calibere this evening at home on my xt pc and everything is working very well. :-))

the problems only occur on my office-pc. so - forget it. i will do all my book-'maintenance' on my home pc.
