Happy new Nook owner

Ordered my Nook Sunday night and it got here today. I love it so far! Very easy to navigate and got hooked up to my encrypted wireless in seconds. I really like the display. I do want to "touch" the upper screen like it's a touch screen, but figured it out pretty quick. Can't wait until this weekend when I'll have a little more time to read (darn work!).

Also got the m-edge Platform Jacket and light which I really like too as it helps prop up the nook on a table or my lap and the light has a "tab" that slips right into the cover and stays there securely.

Hi Becky and welcome to MR. Wish you heaps of fun with your reader.

If you encounter problems, check out the Nook subforum - you might find an answer there. If not, just go ahead and post you question. Someone will answer.

Also check out the freebie section and the MR books section (classics, formatted by MR members). Will get you on the way to some free books. Always good

Smile Hello from Paris

I'm an avid ebook reader (and buyer, or at least up until April 1st); currently reading on a blackberry and an old but faithful I-Paq, I can attest both can survive extreme conditions (coffee for the first, bath for the second).
I'm currently considering adding a cybook opus to my collection...

I've been checking these forums for info regularly and always found what I was looking for Very nice place!
