Well Well
Just got a call from Sony asking about what was wrong with my Sony & if I was able to pick up a replacement. Said I was able to & that I was pleased with the Customer Support. He thanked me for my time & is sending me a coupon code for my inconvenience. I do wonder if Sony is trying harder. Especially here in the USA.

Wow! That is better customer service than has been reported to be typical of Sony in the past! I hope your replacement works out better for you.

Maybe they know you're a MobileRead fanatic and it's in their best interest to have you saying good things about Sony??

Glad to know that you're getting sorted, Pomtroll! I have to say that I phoned Sony Customer Services yesterday about the difficulties I've been having with their Reader for PC software. The guy spent nearly 1 1/2 hours on the phone with me sorting it out. He also took note of the criticisms I had of the software and graciously too, considering I was a bit irate after having the software crash on me repeatedly! So a couple of thumbs up from me on their CS.
