Best (free) download of Frazer's "Golden Bough?"
I'm not exactly sure where to look. Nothing at feedbooks. The Kindle version and the two linked from the on-line books page are abridged editions. Gutenberg's doesn't say if it's unabridged. It's at least in HTML and retains some formatting, but it would be great to download a copy in which somebody else had made sure the "family tree"-type charts displayed OK on an eInk device. Manybooks butchers the Gutenberg edition by destroying the "trees" and endnote links.
Is there one out there, or should I do it myself? |

And this:
http://englishatheist.org/bough/index.shtml or this http://etext.library.adelaide.edu.au.../james/golden/ According to wikipedia, only the 1922 abridgement (69 chapters) is freely available online. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Golden_Bough |

Thanks! I've actually bought the "Sacred Texts" CD to get the arabian Nights, and I hadn't thought to look on that to see if I already had a copy.

That was a rather odd bump. But since it happened, is there a good e-book version (mobi or epub) of this that has chapters marked? (Not HTML/web version, as was linked in this)
It's one of those books where skipping around is very useful, but the ones I've found didn't have those. |
