Da kann man seinen Namen angeben und erhält eine Short Story von M. David Blake handsigniert. Sieht nett aus und ist mal was Besonderes. Kostet übrigens auch nichts.

Alles, was man tun muss, ist eine Email zu senden mit

- Subject: eBook Signing Event: We Don't Plummet Out of the Sky Anymore
- dem gewünschten Namen, den der Autor bei seiner Widmung verwenden soll
- der E-mail-Adresse, an die das handsignierte eBook geschickt werden soll

und zwar an folgende Email-Adresse:
MDavidBlake <DOT> writer <AT symbol> vintageseason <DOT> com

Ja, ist eine hübsche Idee.

Und zeigt, dass auch eBooks eine persönliche Note erhalten können. Dass das nicht 1:1 zum gedruckten Buch geht, macht das eBook erst recht zu eine eigenständigen Medium.

Das ließe sich sogar noch etwas ausbauen.
Um zu beweisen, dass man die Original-Version des signierten eBooks hat, könnte man gegen Rückporto das Original der Widmung zugeschickt bekommen. So hat man das gescannte Deckblatt in der Datei und die original Widmung zur Hand, um die Echtheit zu belegen, auch wenn es mal mehrere Kopien des eBooks geben sollte.

Nachtrag: Vorhin lag das signierte eBook schon in meinem Postfach.

Macht sich im PRC sogar noch etwas hübscher als im ePub, aber überhaupt zwei Formate und dann noch DRM-frei anzubieten, ist eine schöne Geste.

Ich habe es auch innerhalb weniger Stunden bekommen. Tolle Sache!
Meine Widmung war etwas skurril, "mit vielen Grüßen an Perry Rhodan". Das scheint für den Autor wohl ein Synonym für Deutschland zu sein
