Ebook Library won't open.

Ebook library won't open. I'm not sure when this occurred, whether before the patch or after. I tried removing and reinstalling Ebook Library (the new version) and it still won't open. It's in my task manager, and takes up around 37,300K memory usage. When I connect my Reader, the Reader says not to disconnect. But Ebook LIbrary won't open, regardless of whether the Reader is connected or not. It's not a huge deal as I use calibre for everything, but I wanted to register my Reader and such..

any ideas?

Try adding "eBook Library.exe" to the DEP exclusion list.

I had the same thing happen yesterday, when I had the laptop disconnected from the internet. The app just would not open unless I was connected to the web. Annoying (and it tweaks my paranoia!)

My net is on, but I still can't open Ebook Library. I don't even have DEP exclusions turned on (except for essential windows programs etc.. whatever the default is) .. i guess i should try turning it on and putting the Ebook Library in..

ETA: it didn't work. I think my computer is just kind of screwed up and needs a reformat. Grr..
