can't convert prc file to html

i have tried to convert a 40.5mb book to html because my jetbook lite says the file is too large. the following are the results of the conversion. this has happened several times. thought it was time to get some help.

i questioned why the book would not open on the jetbook forum. i was advised to convert to html with calibre.

thanks for your consideration.

ERROR: Conversion Error: <b>Failed</b>: Convert book 1 of 1 (My Detective Library - including 300 ''cases'' (works) by 33 greatest authors of mystery and crime fiction)

The error indicates that the conversion process ran out of memory (RAM) while converting. There's, as far as I know, no way to fix it short of physically adding RAM to the system.
It should also be said that a 40 MB file is quite huge for an ebook. Additional complexities may make conversion even more difficult should this be a reference book or something.

Edit: I should read more than just the error message and the question, just saw that it's not a reference book. Still, the comment is true, although inapplicable.
