More Kindle Info
Here's some more Kindle info:
1. It easily survives a 30 inch drop test. 2. You can send documents to it via email for a .10 conversion charge. 3 Wireless is free. 4. Magazine and blog subscriptions seem to be 1.99 (as an average) per month. Some blogs are .99. 5. Newspapers are a little more expensive at 9.99-14.99 per month. 6. Built in dictionary. |

I'd missed the 10¢ conversion charge, that stinks, but the free wireless makes sense, as they've been eating a lot of delivery costs for several years. I'm guessing that there must be some limits on what you can do with that wireless -- I'm sure they don't want to support the whole world's web-surfing habits for the rest of their lives.

Agreed 100%. I think a new Wiki category is called for, similar to what we already have for the Sony Reader.

I've dropped my 500 from about 4 feet -- who was it reported leaving his on top of his car until he hit 35 mph?
