[Very Old Thread] msi installer error message

Hi everybody,

I try to install calibre 0.6.28 on my Windows 7 64bit machine and have a problem with the msi installer.

I get an error message like "the system can't find the specified device" and
"The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. The error code is 2755"

Any idea what's going wrong?
Is there a possibility to get an exe as installer, since this seems to be an msi problem ?

In the Search box, enter MSI and then read my post/suggestion. It works. Just be patient.
