Downgrade to XP, if you can.
BTW, if you have Vista Business or higher, downgrading is free. You simply have to request the CDs from your manufacturer or Microsoft. |

Since your cursor stops moving, have you tried re-installing or updating your mouse drivers (USB Human Interface Device)? I see a device pop-up for your keyboard as well.

My mouse drivers are just the generic plug and play stuff. And actually the cursor works fine in every program while it's being controlled by the mouse. It only acts up with my tablet, and only when Photoshop or the like are in the foreground. I'm assuming that this is because separate drivers are needed for pressure sensitivity/etc. Last edited by Dylrob; 11-22-2008 at 08:14 AM. |

Have you tried posting in the Gottabemobile forums?
I remember seeing a similar thread there a while ago, so you could search around. Also, I believe I've seen a couple of people who actually work for Wacom posting there so they may be able to give you more specialist advice. |

Okay, so I found the solution: System Restore.
It worked, albeit with some unfortunate side effects stemming from the fact that the point was almost a month old. (mainly that all the tabs I had saved in Firefox prior to resetting were lost anyways) Oh, and I tried the CCleaner stuff before. It didn't work though. I'm glad that you did find a solution even at the expense of a month's worth of new Foxfire tabs.
However, I must respond to a point made earlier by Nate: some of us would consider going from Vista to XP to be an upgrade. I know that I consider it as one. |

I like Vista and I use both Vista and XP. I use Vista for personal everyday stuff and XP for work (but maybe not much longer).

I use both Vista and XP for both work and personal. I honestly haven't had much in the way of problems with either of them (although I did not purchase Vista until SP1 was out).
Since I own several copies of XP and several of Vista Ultimate, I just install what I think will work best depending on the hardware I'm installing and the peripherals I will be using with it. So far .... I really don't see why people don't like Vista. But, that's just me. |
