Yeah, I'd already figured to use guerrilla tactics simply because that's going to be the most effective tactic to use against a superior enemy, as was previously stated. Especially when the enemy is smarter, faster, stronger, and just outright better than you. In the case of the breaders, their advantage is that they have a renewable resource, namely people, whereas the immortals do not. So even if it takes decades, the more immortals you kill, and the more kids you make, the more likely you are to beat out your opponent.
