Running Calibre at 800x600
I am running Ubuntu on a VMWare server but cannot get the descktop to run in the console any bigger than 800x600. When I start up the Calibre application I cannot get to the edge to resize the application.

Install VMware tools then you'll be able to set your resolution to whatever you want.

I dont know if this true on ubuntu but in many linux window managers you can resize windows by holding down the alt or meta key and dragging with the mouse.
Although I have to say that calibre really isn't designed to work in such a small screen. |
