i'm reading it right now. this is the first time i've read any montague egg stories. i think i still prefer peter wimsey but i'm enjoying these. the quotations from the salesman's handbook are hilarious.

I think that Dorothy Sayers envisaged Montague Egg as another sleuth. But people were snobbish and preferred Lord Peter, so there's only these short stories with Mr. Egg. Personally, I think that he's delightful.
