Stanza mail attachment bug
FYI... I recently started noticing problems receiving mail attachments properly on the iPad. Typically a PDF attachment would show me the front page embedded in the body of the email and I couldn't access the full file either to read or to open with another app. Other times the attachment didn't show at all and a question mark would display.
I could fetch the file using Goodreader, for example, from the mail server and the PDF would be downloaded just fine. So the attachment was there. I searched through the Apple support forums and saw several mentions of the iPad version of Stanza causing this problem. A simple deletion of the Stanza app would restore full email attachment functionality. This, in fact, is correct. I deleted the Stanza app and all is well again. |

Darn.... I hope this will not effect me as I really like the Stanza app. I have both Stanza and Goodreader installed....

I noticed it right away:
https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...8&postcount=14 I had hoped the latest upgrade of GoodReader would resolve the problem somehow, but it didn't. Guess I'll now get rid of Stanza, since that seems to restore the GoodReader email functionality. Thanks for the confirmation. |
