Content server problem

I do have a small problem with my content server and Ipod.

Both on my netbook (XP SP3) and on my desktop (OpenSUSE 11.1 and Ubuntu JJ) the content server works fine and is accessible by other computers.

My Ipod, however, does find the Calibre servers (on my desktop and on my netbook) but no content. The raw IP access (without the /stanza add-on) works fine, too, (book downloads do not work) but with the /stanza, Ipod tries to download the adress as a book but fails to do so. This seems to be a regression that appeared with 0.5.8.

Safari can't download the books, either.

there haven't been any changes to the server code in 0.5.8

what do the server error logs say?

No errors. It works fine, just not cooperating with Stanza. For Safari to work, the Epub links should be named epub://, but that is an old problem. Maybe Stanza changed its code and the integration doesn't work anymore because they did an update, too. I will have a look over at the Stanza forum.

run the server as calibe-server --develop in a terminal that will give you more ddetailed logs and you should be able to figure out what requests are failing

I'm having the same problem.
Trying to access calibre as an online cataloge using http://192.168.1.2:8005/stanza
results in it offering to download stanza as thought it were a book.
calibre version 0.5.9
I'm afraid I am not tech savvy enough to run things in terminals. Sorry
