Mono auf dem PocketBook?

Die Ansätze werden immer interessanter. Auf der Mailingliste des Mono-Projektes (Mono ist die freie .NET/C# Implementierung für Linux, Windows und Mac) ist die Frage aufgetaucht, ob man Mono auf das Pocketbook portieren könnte.

Die erste Antwort klingt zumindest sehr positiv. Ich bin mal gespannt und wird das Thema weiterverfolgen und eventuell sogar mal selber antesten, inwieweit man das portiert bekommt. Zumindest die rudimentäre Runtime dürfte machbar sein.
Das hätte schon was, wenn man in C# Programme für das PocketBook programmieren könnte

Ja, klingt in der Tat nett. Was frisst denn der rudimentäre Kern? Also an Flash/RAM?

Weiß ich leider nicht auswendig. Auf dem iPhone läuft aber zumindest Mono, aber das hat auch andere Hardware

Ich denke, dass der Speicherverbrauch zumindest stark gedrosselt wird, wenn das auf einer anderen Plattform gebracht wird.

Naja, wenn es auf dem iPhone läuft... klar, ist 'ne andere Hardware, aber es liegt zumindest in der selben Größenordnung.

Ich muss mir das SDK vom PocketBook echt mal anschauen. Eventuell geht das gar nicht so schwer. Auf der Mono Weseite gibt es auch gute Informationen dafür. Ich glaub ich werd mich da mal mit einbringen in die Diskussion, nachdem ich mir das SDK genauer angeschaut habe.
