Wenn ich das update richtig verstehe kann ja nun der Kindle 4 das Format KF8 lesen,richtig ?
Nun habe ich mal mit Calibre ein epub nach azw3 konvertiert und nix war,nicht lesbar.Calibre nimmt doch aber das azw3 plugin um das KF8 Format umzusetzen oder verstehe ich da was falsch ?

Calibre ist ziemlich gut, aber nicht perfekt. Es akzeptiert im Gegensatz zu den offiziellen Amazon-Programmen auch epubs mit strukturellen Fehlern.
Zum Testen solltest Du besser eines der KF8-Beispielbücher herunterladen.
Falls das korrekt angezeigt wird, versuche mal Deine ePub-Datei mit dem Kindle Previewer zu öffnen.

Einfacher geht es aber mit dem Kindle Previewer, der intern auch KindleGen verwendet.
