Plustek OpticBook 3600 Custom Fast Scan Drivers?

Hi guys,

I'll be getting OpticBook 3600 in a few days and I've been searching for some reviews for the past few days.

And I found some "custom" fast scan drivers that seem to speed up book scanning with no quality loss at 300 dpi black-and-white settings.

See the video:

It's like 3 or 4 seconds per page.

There are download links in the video's description. (No viruses detected by Nod32 btw.)

They appear to be the same drivers that are available from the official Plustek site. I would advise to only download the drivers from the manufacturers site, rootkit viruses can be hidden in driver installs and thus circumvent virus scanners and file system controls in force on the computer. If a manufacturer has its latest drivers freely available for download, I can't see why any third party should need to make driver downloads available elsewhere.
