If you change the doctype in the content files from Code:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"> Code:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.1//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml11/DTD/xhtml11.dtd"> I assume the first doctype is a valid EPUB doctype as it loads in 0.5.3. I'm not sure what part of Sigil changed that affects this, so maybe user_none can comment. |

That original attached epub never did crash my 0.5.902 build on Ubuntu 11.10 (built against Qt4.7.4). Perhaps it's a Qt4.8.2 Webkit thing, considering it works on 0.5.3 (Qt4.7.4) as well. The Windows beta binaries all include 4.8.2, right?

meme- As you said now no problem loading.
It is very useful for Sigil to be very tolerant on loading and strict on saving, since I get these epubs from various sources, none of which I consider very reliable. Thanks for figuring it out. |

Am I missing something—or is the 0.5.902 version no longer on the downloads page? I've forced refreshed the page and I still see nothing but 0.5.3.

0.5.902 was removed as there are enough testers providing feedback.

Can't find * or ? or . in BV
The Find/Replace doesn't find asterisks, question marks or full stops in BV. Works fine in CV.
