Help!! My dr1000s cannot boot again after firmware upgradation

I received my DR1000s yesterday night. After I connected the DR1000s to the computer, it tell me to download and upgrade new fireware. It finished down and extract the first time. And then I accidently click the driver letter of DR1000s and runned the update programme again, the second time I stopped it when downing but the fireware was still extracted again. When I disconnected it from my notebook, It updated the firmware itself. But after that, this machine can never boot again, it keeps showing the booting screen. And I can't turn it off. I have been waiting this thing for 23 days and it stop working the second day. I feel despaired!!

As zerospinboson says, try the reset button. It can be slow to re-boot.
Nex choice is to get another SD vard, format it in the PC (FAT32) download and copy across the SD Card software from the irex website (It's a zip file so follw the instructions you find there).
Insert card & reset & boot up.

Hopefully that should work.

I had the same problem, but resetting it worked. also, you need to hold the reset button down for a good long time- the first few times I tried it I only held it down for 20secs or so and it did nothing.

Thank godness! After I manually downloaded the fireware to the SD card and reseted it, it updated again and this time it rebooted successfully!
