I think, to me, the biggest disadvantage to torrenting is seeding. So many people won't seed or they'll seed at the slowest rate possible. But that's conditional and depends primarily on the group.
And, to quell some of the earlier concerns about downloading the full torrent to get one file, uTorrent is a BT client that allows you to pick and choose what files you want (as long as they're not archived, like in a ZIP file) as well as what download/upload speeds you want. I personally don't see a major problem with the ebook section but I don't mind a few extra clicks. |
