$25 Sony eBookstore Gift cards
I have some Sony ebookstore cards. They cost $28 for each $25 card. The extra fees go to paypal fees and time and energy spent getting the cards. The code and pin on the card will give you access to the Sony eBookstore without having a US credit card.

Hi there - do you have any more Sony ebookstore cards - I am in UK with PRS500 so still need to buy content from US store (only PRS-505 formats here).

What stops someone from going and purchasing one for $25 from Sony and saving 3 dollars?

Hi
I live in the UK, and I've just ordered a Sony prs505s from Sony UK, but it hasn't arrived yet. My understanding is that the best thing to do is 1. Don't install the UK software 2. Download the US version software from http://ebookstore.sony.com/download/ 3. Buy vouchers from people here and use them to buy books 4. Install them on my Sony ebook reader Is this going to work? Is a UK spec ebook reader the same as a US one? Will it work with the US software? Will I be able to get an account on the US store okay? I'm currently thinking that I might create a VMWare virtual PC and install the software there. Then I can just back up the entire machine onto my server and use it when/whereever I want. I am however worried that I might get my UK spec ebook reader in a mess. thanks, DNJ |
