How to retain original filename?
I would like Calibre to use the same filename for a book that I originally gave it
name - series series series_index - title - version for instance: Waggoner, Tim - [Nekropolis 03] - Dark War (v5.0).epub Any thoughts on how this can be done? |

You don't.
Calibre will handle files the way it see fit, rather than how the user wants it. And i forgot, it's forbidden to make proposals to change that, or even speak about it https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=119175 |

Internally... No way (read the sticky on Library structre)
you can use a save to disk or send to template to save files externally (you will need a 'Version' custom column). |
