Confused about Clippings
I'm quite confused about MyClippings.txt file. I've been beta reading a friend's book in progress (a personal file, obviously) and making notes as I go. The file and notes are syncing very nicely between my PW3 and my phone's Kindle reader. But when I look at the MyClippings file on the Kindle, the most recent update was two days ago, and does not contain the extensive notes I made toward the end of the book yesterday. I understand that the book has its own annotations file...but why hasn't MyClippings (which is much easier to read) been updated?
In addition, the Calibre annotations plugin doesn't see the books annotations at all, though it sees the clippings from the other two books in the file (both of which are Amazon-purchased books, not personal documents). Thanks for any help. I'm going to take an aspirin for the headache this is causing me. |

My Clippings.txt is a log of the notes taken on that device, it will not show notes taken from another device.
As for the calibre plugin, your best bet is to ask for help in the plugin thread. |
