Kindle or Nook

I read at least two to three books a week and am trying to decide whether to get Kindle or a Nook. I know I can check books out from the library with a Nook but have heard the Kindles are a little better. Any ideas?

Hi Koot and welcome to MobileRead. I've had a Sony 505 for over three years and wouldn't trade it. Don't know enough about the Kindle or Nook to give you good advice. Also, you might try posting your question on our Which One Should I Buy? section

Welcome to MobileRead! Have a good time here! And as for your question, I would say Kindle. I've used both the Nook and Kindle, and I prefer the Kindle over the Nook.

Good to have your company, Koot. You'll find, I'm afraid, some confusing device-user loyalties here. Best advice -- give them both a spin and make up your own mind. Me? I'd take the gift of a Kindle as a declaration of war. Good luck and best wishes. Neil
